La Galeta Artesana was created in Girona in 2017 with the aim of elaborating homemade cookies using natural and local produce.
This project is the brainchild of Eulalia Pallarés, restaurateur, and Jordi Fortià, chef and industrial designer. They started off baking the first cookies at home, creating new recipes and modifying other existing ones.
After many months of trials, the time had come to carry out the project. The first step was to find premises for the bakery, which they did in the heart of the city of Girona in the neighbourhood of
L´Eixample, one of the most commercially active zones of the city.
Eulalia and Jordi took charge of the design of the bakery, the packaging of the cookies, the publicity and the web page.
The final result is La Galeta Artesana, a bakery with a seating zone to sample the goods of sweet, savoury, wholemeal homemade cookies as well as cupcakes, muffins and plum cakes while having a cup of ecological coffee or herbal teas or our hot chocolate drink without additives.
We also have on sale sweet wines and ecological cavas, ideal to drink with our cookies and pastries.
